What exactly is Assurance Lite?
Assurance Lite is a monthly subscription service that gives your charity the oversight of an experienced charity CFO. We monitor your financial health, provide quarterly reviews, and step in early if your key financial metrics show signs of risk.
What systems do you plug into?
We integrate with major cloud-based accounting platforms Xero, QuickBooks, and Sage, allowing us to monitor financial trends and produce insights without disrupting your existing processes.
Who will be reviewing our finances?
Your reviews will be handled by a qualified chartered accountant and charity CFO from Charity Accounting Partners. All of our advisors are friendly, enthusiastic, and have deep experience supporting UK charities.
How is this different from hiring a part-time finance director?
Hiring a part-time FD can cost thousands per month. Assurance Lite offers strategic oversight at a fraction of the cost, with quarterly reviews, early warning alerts, and on-demand guidance – without the need for recruitment, contracts, or overhead.
What happens if our financials start to decline?
If we detect a negative trend (e.g. declining reserves, overspending, or cash flow risks), we’ll flag it immediately and step in with practical advice. You’ll have a clear action plan and, if needed, extra support options from our wider finance team.
Is there a long-term contract or can we cancel anytime?
There’s no long-term lock-in. You can cancel or pause your Assurance Lite subscription with just 30 days’ notice. We believe in earning your trust through value, not contracts.
