Terms and Conditions

1.1 Introduction

These Terms and Conditions outline the rights, responsibilities, and obligations between Charity Accounting Partners and our clients. By engaging our services, clients agree to abide by these terms.

1.2 Scope of Services

• Charity Accounting Partners provides outsourced finance management services, including bookkeeping, financial reporting, risk assessment, and strategic financial planning for charities.

• We do not offer regulated investment advice or legal services.

1.3 Client Responsibilities

• Clients must provide timely and accurate financial records for us to perform our services effectively.

• Any delays in providing requested documents may affect our ability to meet agreed-upon deadlines.

• Clients must ensure that their organisation complies with all relevant financial regulations and governance requirements.

1.4 Fees and Payment Terms

• Fees are agreed upon before the commencement of services and are payable according to the agreed schedule.

• Late payments may incur additional charges as specified in the contract.

1.5 Satisfaction Guarantee

Charity Accounting Partners offers a 3-month satisfaction guarantee to new clients. If a client is not satisfied with the services provided within the first 90 days of engagement, they may request a refund of fees paid during that period. To be eligible, the client must notify Charity Accounting Partners in writing, outlining the specific reasons for dissatisfaction, and allow a reasonable opportunity to remedy the issue. Refunds are limited to fees paid for services rendered in the first 90 days only and exclude any third-party costs or disbursements. This guarantee does not apply in cases where dissatisfaction arises due to lack of client cooperation, withheld information, scope changes outside the agreed engagement, or failure to follow professional advice.

1.6 Confidentiality and Data Security

• Charity Accounting Partners will maintain strict confidentiality of all client data.

• Clients must also ensure they take appropriate measures to protect sensitive financial information shared with us.

1.7 Termination of Services

• Either party may terminate the agreement with 60 days’ written notice, unless otherwise agreed or specified within a service contract.

• If a client wishes to terminate services before the agreed period, they must settle any outstanding payments.

1.8 Liability and Indemnity

• Charity Accounting Partners is not liable for any financial losses arising from incorrect information provided by the client.

• We will not be responsible for indirect or consequential damages resulting from the use of our services.

1.9 Dispute Resolution

• In case of disputes, both parties will first attempt to resolve them amicably.

• If necessary, disputes will be referred to an independent mediator before pursuing legal action.

• For more information, please review our Feedback and Resolutions Policy.
